Choirs

Rehearsals

Joyful Noise Choir (Age 3-1st Grade)

Rehearsals are held in the Chapel, Mondays 5:30 - 6:00p.m. (Jeanette Walker, Director)

The Shepherd’s Choir (Grades 2-5)

Rehearsals are held in the Choir Room, Mondays 6:15 – 7:00 p.m. (Jeanette Walker and Meredith Schmahl, Director)

Youth Choir (Grades 6-12)

Rehearsals are held in the Choir Room, Sundays at 5:30 PM (Meredith Schmahl, Director of Music, Director)

New this year Children's Chimes and Handbells, directed by Amy Granger, for children in grades 2 - 5. Monday evening rehearsals at 5:30 PM.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer a bible school program for church members and the community is held at the church. For 2009 the dates are June 22 – 26. Nicolle Jones is the director for VBS.

9:00 AM – 12:00 noon

Ages 3 – sixth grade

Early registration is recommended.

Children’s Worship (Ages 4-2nd Grade)

Each week, September through June, during both worship services, children attend their own age-appropriate worship service after their special time with the Pastor. Children participating have an opportunity to learn about the sacraments, the vocabulary of worship, to memorize the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles’ Creed and the Doxology and to hear about and experience the Bible stories. Volunteer adult and youth members lead the lessons and activities. Children worship together in the chapel.

Kid’s Club (Grades 2-5)

A monthly fun activity is planned (pizza and movie night, board game night, swimming, bowling, attending a play and other events) for this group of friends to be together.
